To calculate revenue attribution, you consider different scenarios based on the type of page:
  1. For Grow fundraising pages: Revenue attribution refers to any money generated by a fundraiser that was created from that specific fundraising page.
  2. For My Journeys page: Revenue attribution occurs when a donation is received by a Subscriber after the first message of a revenue journey has been received. In other words, if someone receives a message as part of a revenue journey and then makes a donation, that donation is attributed to the revenue journey.
  3. On the Insights page: Revenue attribution is a combination of revenue from my journeys and revenue from Grow fundraising pages. However, there may be some overlapping data that needs to be accounted for. Essentially, it includes all revenue generated from fundraising pages and any direct revenue received after a revenue journey has started.
  4. In summary, revenue attribution is the process of assigning revenue to different sources or events, such as fundraisers on Grow pages, donations received during revenue journeys, and a combination of revenue from different sources with necessary adjustments for overlapping data.
