You can now edit and update a published journey or template seamlessly. You can modify every node and republish it with the changes, without needing to recreate a new Acquire URL connected to the journey.
Why: This feature is designed to save time and effort for Nonprofits.
- 5–30 minutes per journey no longer needed for duplication and relaunch.
- Reduces the need to delete 1–3 journeys per week.
How:
- Open any published journey or template by clicking the card.
-
Click the Edit button to make changes.
-
Once edits are complete, click the Update button to apply them. This publishes the edits, making them live for all new supporters who enter the journey.
- If you make changes but don’t click Update, the UI will reflect the changes, but they will not be effective for supporters.
- Will metrics reset after a change is made?
- If a campaign is launched and sent today, and I modify the date to tomorrow, will it launch tomorrow?
- What happens if I edit a journey that has multiple Acquire URLs connected to it?
- Can I revert changes after publishing them?
- Will supporters who completed the journey before the change be affected by the edits?
- Can I preview the changes before publishing?
- Is there a limit to how many times a journey can be edited and republished?
- What happens if I start editing a journey but don’t publish the changes?
- Will editing a journey impact scheduled messages or delays?
- Can multiple users edit the same journey at the same time?
- Will notifications be sent when a journey is updated?
