Does creating a fundraiser automatically enroll participants in the challenge?

Understanding Fundraiser Creation & Challenge Registration

A common misunderstanding participants have is creating fundraiser and assuming they are automatically registered for the challenge. However, registration for the challenge occurs separately inside of Messenger after entering via the Challenge Op-In link found in the group. Participants become fully registered once they have entered Messenger and have received the welcome message, letting them know how and when to log activity.

This misunderstanding often leads to confusion and concerns about logging miles.
